Not really a band that I listen to typically, but I was asked to do a collab with this tune, so I gave it a whirl. I'm playing around with green screen stuff, so forgive the pretentious background.

We are going to try something different, now. For every video I release, I will also be releasing the audio file for the video. Often the audio file is better than it is on the video. Not only that, but I am willing to wager that one or two of you might actually like to have the audio to make it easier to learn the tune by ear with the bass so loud.

So here is the link to the audio for the file.

If there is an overwhelming request for audios from any of my old videos, I will be posting them on LRRGtube, also.

If this generates no interest, I'll probably not waste my time with it.

A pretty good tune with a fun little chorus. It's certainly a tune that challenges the endurance because it is practically a gallop from the beginning to the end.

  • Man, I tried to comment on this yesterday and stupid YouTube wouldn't let me.

Anyway, awesome playing as always, man. Noticed a button on your strap, what is it?

Keep it up, oh mighty leader!

  • It's an entomology button.....features a cicada.

  • Sorry, but I'm not really diggin' the green screen..

Otherwise, you did a killer job on this one. Love all the little fills you put in to break it up a bit. 5/5

  • The green screen is just for collabs. Otherwise it is too much of a pain and removes me from my "Living Room". I kinda figured my fellow LRRGs would have a problem with it.

  • cool song never heard ufo befor. is the greenscreen stuff hard to do?

  • The way I do it (with a cheap blanket from Target), yes. Takes me about an hour to dial it in right. There are instructions on youtube as to how to do it.

  • Unrelated, but I don't think I've ever seen a rick played with the fingers.

  • Pete Way never played that many notes.

  • Excellent.

  • Sounds like you hit all the right keys. Pete Way use to use the same kind of Rick at first. Then he went to Fender P's then Gibson Thunderbird became his trademark.

But I like the Rick sound over the T-Birds any day. How would you rate Pete Ways playing? He would get a lot criticism for playing too simple, but I think he kept it simple because he was always half drunk and ran around on stage like mad.

  • zomg that yould be soo sweeet

  • the bass-guitar sounds nice... but i like the Primus Covers more :-P

  • Please please please keep releasing the audio files, and if you can find the time start workin backwards and releasing previous audio. I'd love to have it ALL on my ipod

  • YES POST MORE AUDIO VERSIONS! Then I don't have to strip it out of the Youtube video to have a crap copy :) Any way you do it, keep on rockin'!

  • Seems to be quite the fast-paced bass line and a good song too

  • Awesome Rob! YEEEEAAHHH!!!!
