The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a resource for families with mentally ill children and adults.

NAMI has a healthy and growing Cook County North Suburban chapter located in Northfield. We sat down recently to chat with Ann George, a volunteer who is the chapter co-president, Barb Maier, the executive director, and Bonnie Larson, a real estate consultant with Coldwell Banker's Winnetka North office.

This first of six videos is an introduction to NAMI's services, which are free to families.

  • "expodentially" i think the word you're searching for is "exponentially". why don't you learn thee english language first before you try to represent a European Nationalist group and become a spokesperson.

  • Good job ladies. Keep up the good work!

  • don't buy nami. i think that looking at people and everything as mentally ill is a depressing way to see things. it's negative. don't look at things with a label. it's bullshit. nami's bullshit,
