when ace and peter left, that was really the end of kiss and the start of the glam kiss...kiss was never the same again, yes there was a glimpse of the old kiss on the reunion tour, but it was just a matter of time before it fell apart again...gene and paul was just too greedy

I remember a commercial back in 1980 when the album Unmasked was released where they have poparazzi say " Ah Shucks! Hey Gene, over here. Darn!" But KISS has the last laugh.

@jenkoEire  Anton Fig played the drums on Ace's solo records (& Frehley's Comet), that's what I meant, and he also played the drums on Unmasked. (And on some of the tracks on Dynasty)
