I think it might be filmed with auto-iris. The camera is certainly robust enough for ENG work. Only drawback is that there's no native 1920x1080. The images are just upscaled 1280x720, which is the biggest drawback i noticed from this camera. If resolution is important, i still prefer the 25P mode of my Canon XH-A1, but otherwise i prefer the form factor and pro-camera feel of the HM700 camera overall.
I have this camera, and am not so satisfied with the lens. On high contrast backgrounds the chromatic aberration is very obvious. Other lenses still come at a too high price, or you can go with a SD lens which i wouldn't recommend.
can anyone tell me a price? not that i'm interesting but who knows? i cant find any price!!! especially in my country... :/ is it a new model or just my country sucks? :D
btw i say philip bloom's review on this camera it had too much color splitting... any idea if it was stock lenses' issue?
jvc gy hm700 is perfect camcorder but I must say that jvc gy -hm700 is better with canon lens than fujion.

@MortallicA91 its about $7500 (US) but you can get the JVC GY-HM700L17 on Ebay new for like 4500 - 6500 Depending. (I reccommend the 700L17)

White flash frames on some of the cloud shots. What could be the cause? Is this camera robust enough for ENG?
