We start this song off by doing a cover of the Muddy Waters song "I'm ready." From there we go into a Jack Starr original called "They call it the Blues, but it makes you want to dance." This is a great song in the West Coast jump blues groove. I am particularly happy with my guitar playing on it because it really shows a lot of phrasing and all of the solos have definite beginings and ends. They're played with great control and vibrato. If that ain't the blues I don't know what is.

Thanks for the kind words and its great to hear from someone who was there back in the glory days of metal, I am glad you dug the blues stuff I am doing ,Stay in touch, Jack

  • Jack, you kicking ass! Real authentic blues guitar. Great to see you're still packing 'em in. I played the NYC metal circuit in the late 80's and remember you very well. Keep shredding!
