  • Cool staff form, some great looking techniques. Bravo well done.

  • @JarredD798HungMan1

Thanks a lot! Hung Fut Kung Fu has many outstanding staff techniques.

  • Just finished learning this form from my Si Fu XD The way i was taugh was different but basically the same, although the way my Si Fu taught me was to put more power into it and to remember my "ki-aye" actually i just noticed my Si Fu is "giochanni" who also posted on this video :D We do Hung Fut in Scotland but its cool seeing it in other countries, btw you shouldve put the whole form up

  • Thanks for your comment!!!

You´re right - the form is lacking some accents. It was just the student´s level at

that time. The student is determined by his northern techniques in our school.

If you watch our Duk Bei Kuen / Tigerfork/ Bench video you will see another character of our techniques.

In most of our videos we only give some insights. Nevertheless our videos tend to get longer and longer... ;-))))

  • I like the form. However, if this gentleman wants to display power, he should get a thick staff. Kung Fu practioners should always use a thick staff because if you cannot make the tip shake then there is no power. The power comes from the waste and your back leg. That is how power Hung Fut is. Except for Chi Gung, that is later and more difficult to use. I do like this gentleman's technique but he should always practice a thicker staff because you want to build your fore arms and your wrist.

  • Thanks for your kind words.

We differentiate between training with thicker staffs and demonstration with thinner.

You will hardly see Mad Devil Demonstrations with thick staffs; its against the character of this special technique.

Besides in our video there are still some accents missing.

  • Good video. I like the music. Your form and footwork look great, and your training hall is really nice also.

  • that's a very skinny staff. why not a thicker one?

  • Nice pole form, whatever style your practicing there would always be some difference of interpretation or a sense of individuality that make the art more special, even between 2 student with the same teacher. Its just how the practitioner adapt to the form and express his or her own personal interpretation. Good training and more power to you and your club.
  • Yip,though the beginning is closer to you guys in Deutchland!!

The beginning in linglingchats upload is from another form you may be aware of.

Here in the Scotland the form is consistant by all practitioners,it is nice to see the variations though,in all the forms.

Our version is as near to your version EKOkoeln as it is to linglingchats upload, the differences are very very slight.
