  • I don't like heating them very much but there's a soft brown layer between the shell & meat and you can separate them gently with a strong sharp knife... mine just came off in only five pieces, just shave the brown layer off the meat w/ a potato peeler :)

  • @Pandabearkt

This is correct you can do it without burning them , just cracking them open and then removig the brown tough skin with a sharp knife.

  • i thought coconut milk came from the actual coconut

  • i try to follow the video.but i fail to separate the black skin from the white meat. How you do it? How long you fire the coconut?

  • @nickdandruff

you can use a paring knife!

  • @champjcp995

coconut water does, the milk comes is extracted from the flesh

  • 12 o'clock at night and i have spent 30 minutes watching coconuts -.-

  • Nice vid..just wish to add, that coconut milk CAN be drunk straight away, there are dessert recepies, ice creams that can be made from raw cocomilk.its a great source of fat.it shouldnt taste bitter at all,it has normaly a nice creamy texture :)

  • @mkkm7

one week, better freeze it in small flat freezer bags

  • @BFac

if the coconut water is bitter then the coconut has gone bad

  • @nickdandruff

yes you burn it for some time and if it doesnt come off use a knife

  • @sulivel
