How to make a glass mushroom pendant.

This is my documentry short i did for my film class. I know a guy who owns a head shop and blows glass so I thought it would cool to do that for the project. just tried to make one of these, im working with a shitty 3A-B national, thought the glass was hot enough, went to shove my color rod in, was having a hard time going in so i pushed it harder sense i was already half way there, and it snapped, and the fucking small end of the color rod that you pull out, jammed into the palm of my hand, and snapped off in my hand, was stuck in there about 2 inches long, when i pulled it out blood was pouring everywhere, wont be trying these anytime soon lol
