The second part of the second review of the second Final Fantasy X game;
Spoony's Final Fantasy X-2 Review Part 2!

I laboriously corrected all of the aspect ratio mistakes throughout (and with FFX, it's now up to 300 of 500 cuts, argh) but it's all better now!

All worse now:
Video cuts by one frame per cut, and audio desyncs slightly over time to correct for it. It's not too bad though.
The video has been compressed three times, once by Spoony, then squashed and stretched and compressed by me, and lastly by YouTube. It's still HD, just with lotsa compression.
Any text overlays on top of FFX-2 footage is squashed along with the footage. It remains completely legible, though.

Also, if you don't go to http://www.spoonyexperiment.com/ and enjoy more of his awesomeness, it means you miss out on more awesomeness. And you don't want to miss out on more awesomeness, do you?

  • I hope Spoony Reviews FF XIII & XIII-2 while Waiting for VS XIII Complete with Spoony Lightning & Spoony Serah.

  • @Sizednochi Wasn't the AVGN, it was Curtis from Phantasmagoria 2

  • Here's my biggest problem with this game.

Whenever the characters deal with something like L'Blanc's fortress being "too heavily guarded" I want to scream, "YOU KILLED A GOD! What, could this fortress fight off SIN?! You... Killed... a... GOD!!!"

  • @bamburn04 The sphere grid is an interesting piece in game design.

    1) In theory, it should be one of the worst mechanics for leveling every created. It's counter-intuitive, it's clunky, it's easy to mess up with, it's hard to account for the balance of player characters, it necessitates opening it ALL the time for each individual sphere and more.

    2) Yet... Lots of people enjoy it. Possibly simply because it's different and has a nice aesthetic and a visual way to map progress. Not all bad.

  • 7:41 when she says "i really gotta let off some steam" he runs over hella fast like "whataya got in mind" lol wonder what he was thinkn..for god sakes shes 15 haha

  • Um the sphere grid in Final Fantasy X is what made Final Fantasy X unique and you can learn all the abilities on the sphere grid with each character if you invested enough time in it. What's the point of getting skills if you can get them easily like FFX-2? -.-

  • 0:25 Does he really hate the AVGN this much?

  • Spoony is Channel Awesome's Angry Video Game Nerd.

  • Wahoo! Spoony's a A Song of Ice and Fire fan. ;)

  • 8:08 and onward is easily the funniest part of this for me.
