  • 2 cup (3/4 pound) very finely grated white farmer's cheese or queso blanco

    1/3 cup yucca flour or starch

    1/4 cup precooked white corn flour

    1 tablespoon sugar

    3/4 teaspoon salt

    1 egg

    4 cups oil for frying

    how about trying tofu that has been dried with a cheese cloth after processing it. You might need more than 10 ounces, something like 12 ounces!

    its actually yucca starch or flour and you can get it in Latin Supermarkets. There is one in Try LA RISARALDA supermarket in Jackson Height, QUEENS, on 91st and 37th ave. Brooklyn

  • It is the consistency, they both have almost the same ingredients but pandebono is dense and pandeyuca is hollow.

  • @oceanbeat no arepas es para hacer arepas maizena es para espesar esta harina para hacer buenuelos se llama harina para hacer bunuelos... y si la harina de maiz es la precocida para hacer arepas la maizena no tiene nada que ver hay maizena es para espesar cosas como postres
