Transylvanian Concubine - Interview with the Vampire

I love this film, I saw it quite a while ago and thought that Lestat was hilarious. The books are good too, but I hate the Queen of the Damned film, Stewart Townsend ruined Lestat as a character. ...

I was worried when I first saw the film about how Cruise would play Lestat but he did it pretty good, so much better than Stuart Townsend did in Queen of the Damned, that wasnt difficult though was it

good video. I don`t like Tom Cruise, but in Interview with a vampire, he makes a good job. I must agree, QOTD was a bad film, but i must say,the music by Korn was really good. well, the music by korn isn`t really goth music..

Funny I don't remember stating that feminism was an abomination seeing as in my quote i said the film was. However Feminism is the other side of the chauvanistic coin, it covers the need to have women as equals but looks the other way when discrimination is towards men. Akasha doesn't hate men she truely believes that women just have the better means to be leaders and that men should use their strengths and be builders and protectors (mind you she also kills them go figure).

yeah, id on't think stuart can be blamed for the failure of Queen of the Damned. that movie was just missing something. passion maybe, or sincerity? i guess it was just a quagmire, that it didn't follow the book closely enough but didn't quite its own voice/vision either. for myself i dont love the casting in either movie, and TC played Lestat as mostly a vain, arrogant prick of a pretty boy, i didn't see the lovable side of the character.
