@CaptainHollyShort Most people don't like it because it is a departure of their earlier work. I think what Lynne was trying to do was to move along with the times. New Wave with the synth music was all the rage back in the 80's. I am like you. I love this album too. It's different, but it's still ELO.

There are SO many brilliant ELO songs, it still boggles my mind that the only song from this album that got radio play was Hold On Tight...This is such an incredible song from one of my favorite albums of all TIME!
