  • What is the purpose of the tape around his right hand?

  • in fast chi sao you might break you fingers when you entangle yourself with your partner's arms/hands/clothes. that's why we tape the fingers together.

  • I actually tried this the other week whilst in training, it shifts the mind's focus to the heel of the palm and works a treat for practising palm strikes to the chin, give it a try!

  • i know what you mean. in phb/wsl ving tsun however first choice weapon is the straight punch. palm strikes have to be used in certain situations but are suboptimal if you have the actual choice between them. so, no thanks :)

  • Hi, does Sifu Bayer speak english?

  • @Chikarabu he doesn't have one... that's what is friggin crazy about this guy. I love watching him, it's like looking at a beautiful painting and you just can't figure out why you can't look away. AWESOMENESS

  • wing chun at its best, Please teach in the UK, any Bayer students moving to the UK please spread your teachers art, some of us are fed up of learning deffective wing chun that doesnt work and it is giving a bad name for wing chun. The only other teachers I would hope to learn from are Shu cheung tin and Gary Lam.

  • unfurtunately wing chun of this level is very hard to find for must of us aspiring wing chun practioners, this is as good as it gets

  • this guy is so good it's sickening (I'm just jealous!)

  • messer + anzug = stylisch :)

  • @riskysour He has it in every video clipp i've seen, this man has to have problem with that hand, but he truly is one of the most skilled masters in the europe.

  • perhaps the best ving tsun practioner out there even with his handicap, this guy is awesome, Big respect to him and his students.

  • @zxcv73 Yeah and the first guy used to be my instructor and he himself is a machine. Unfortunately I never got a chance to see PB in real life, he must be awesome...

  • unnormal. Phillip geht so ab
