  • @JaimeinUK Enough with the eyebrows.

  • LOL, I say RAGtime...not RAYGtime. XD The band director at my school was talking to the class about ragtime, but since she's from Wisconsin, she said raygtime. XD Cue of laughter. LOL. Btw, I'm from Texas. =]

  • I'm Canadian and you speak exactly how I do. I don't think you have an accent at all. But I do notice some people in Minnesota DO have those "Sarah Palin" accents. As for how you pronounce "bag", Most central and western Canadians also say it like "bayg" or "baygel" instead of "bAgel" haha. I also say "pasta" like "posta" not "paaasta" lol.

  • you sound nearer to english than the other american accents

  • @Catch22HomeRun where in minnesota u from? im from mpls and i dont hear the accent at all

  • You have the generic northern accent like me! (I think it's considered that?) and I am southern Minnesota

  • your accent is the same as mine. I'm from Michigan.

  • Only thing that startled me when I moved from California to Minnesota and I also lived in Wisconsin too, was that pronunciation of the word "bag" because at least the people I was around said "bag" as the word "beg" would sound. People asked me if I wanted a "beg" for my groceries at Super America and I had to ask them a few times what the hell they said.

  • You're VERY cute!

  • Only Seattle accent rocks

  • I live in Minnesota but I did live in St. Joseph, Missouri for three years. I've been back to visit twice since then and had a discussion about this with my uncle who lived down there when he was alive. Everyone thinks MInnesotans sound like Canadians.
