  • @merakhagen Belive it or not but majority of people who were watching this as it was broadcast (and also people on the internet for that matter) have never heard of Kpop....and to all the people bashing this report, they were just trying to give a basic intro to show how big kpop really is in comparison to more mainstream pop, so stop acting like everybody has heard of your bias, stop acting so high and mighty, because everything they said was a fact

  • who needs lady gaga when we have kpop <3

  • I find it ironic that it says on the headline, "the cash cow is giving away $100,000!" when they showed SNSD's The Boys. xD

  • I dont like how he says "building" these kids, like their machines. Because they work like machines with their schedules. KPOP Idols are human, they should've mentioned more of their personality more...

  • KPOP IN JAPAN???

    1 – AKB48 – 16,282,000,000 Yen

    2 – Arashi – 15,369,000,000 Yen

    3 – EXILE – 5,603,000,000 Yen

    4 – Kara – 4,926,000,000 Yen

    5 – SNSD – 4,049,000,000 Yen

  • I agree, they don't speak 4~5 different languages, but they are willing to sing in other languages. That itself proves these people are more willing to accept globalization.

  • @RehGo I am not acting so high and mighty. Globalization is acting high and mighty. Those people who think their familiar surroundings are "main-stream" and unwilling to accept globalization will be left behind, and that is the fact.

  • @KKanno just cuz they dont know english doesnt mean they dont actually know a lot of languages, but actually....most only know 2-3 anyways, all the members of the groups TOGETHER can speak 4-5 languages, but TVXQ mainly speaks Korean and Japanese

  • that awkward moment when the news reporter says "these kids can speak 4~5 languages", but then the 2 guys in the interview had a translator LOL

  • I'm a BIG Kpop fan but seriously: "I don't understand their songs, but they have a lot of meaning."

Sorry, but a lot of the time Kpop is just American pop in Korean O_0 And don't be naive, of course the majority of people have never heard of our biases. It's more complicated than Kpop fans make it to be, crossing over to the western music scene is difficult, but I hope Kpop continues to prosper and spread :)

  • They dont know 4 to 5 languages lol lies.
