Plot:
RISE OF THE LYCANS delves into the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires, known as Death Dealers, and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). A young Lycan, Lucian (Michael Sheen), emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Bill Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has persecuted them for hundreds of years. Steven is quite good at playing a sneaky slithering character who's out for himself. If they do another prequel type movie, it'll be nice to see Mackintosh come back.

Tannis is such a likeably unlikeable character, in both Evolution and in Rise. Damn.. everyone in this series does such a great job in their role.

I hope the 4th part is more character-centric, as was Underworld 1 and 3. Evolution, I think, went a bit too much "big action" and the characters are sort of lost in all of it. I think the Underworld series works far better as character-centric films than as "action films". Hopefully that makes sense :-p
