I lived in Senglea from 1948 to 1951 at 125 Victory Street, the last house before the church. My father was Royal Navy and we had the first floor flat. The Maltese family we lived with were the Mallias. I think that's how it is spelled. Of course, it was still badly damaged from the war but that just meant more wonderful places to play. I'm afraid it didn't occur to me that my playground had been some poor souls home. Thank you for posting this.

thanks, see my other video, well it is mainly an expereiment with a tripod I borrowed hehe. The football ground which is seen in this vid was now improved and it is now an artificial turf .

I used to live in Senglea in 1988-89. The railings wern't up then, and the stone work in the centre wasnt there... I lived 110 Point st.. You'll have to do me a video of my old street, i never get back to Malta..
