HI all I'm from Jordan& i'm a big fan of yedi karanfel&I hear him a lot when i want to relax my nerve.This kind of this music is it Turkish folk or not?Please help me to know what this kind of music in Turkey.

@darkoon2008 %100 percent pure turkish folk music..and our folk music sounds differently in any other region its usually about love, nature, Allah,war or social problems..and one research shows that climate also changes the rhtym of the music.if it is a slow one it means dry parts of turkey and if it is faster its from north or rainy -green parts of turkey.i m glad you like it..

hey mate sounds like none answered you. Yes these are traditional Turkish musics. and almost all of them anonym folk songs comes from Anatolian bards.

Yedi Karanfil is a group consisting of virtuosos. Most of their songs are instrumental versions of türküs(Turkish folk songs). These songs are old, thus their composers have long been forgotten and they are anonymous. I hope that is clear enough for you.
