MASSIVE 150 Car Union Pacific IG2OA

Here is a HUGE IG2OA coming through Davis. I took this at Old Davis Rd. This shot was taken on 5/17/09. The train was the longest loaded intermodal that I have ever heard of to come through Davis. The train was beginning to pick up speed when it finally got to the crossing. Hope you enjoy! Other info is in the video. RATE AND COMMENT ALL VIDEOS!!!!!!!

Yes it did. Almost every stack train goes through the Feather River and not Donner.

i assume these trains turn north to feather river or south to bakersfield?

This was a westbound so it was just going to Oakland. But eastbounds mainly go to Roseville then north and southbounds just turn south at Elvas.

i've never seen a single stack over donner. plenty of TOF's but not single stacks. of course, my method is to spot a single train and follow it to verdi or colfax.

The only train with stacks that goes over donner is the daily east and west bound Z trains and those are single stacks since double stacks can not make it over donner.
