Club Kid Michael Alig talks about Gaga in Interview Magazine, out now: "I love Lady Gaga. She would have fit right in at Disco 2000. A lot of people don't understand what she's doing, but she is a satire of a pop star. She is making fun of it, and at the same time, she's going to go out and get everything she can by doing it. We saw the whole fame thing collapsing. We wanted to grab it quick, while there was something left to grab, because we saw it all coming down."

-Gaga refers to her fans a "little monsters" as the club kids were referred to as 'party monsters' and sometimes 'little monsters' or just 'monsters'
-Basically the way she dresses is a total rip off of club kids. Not necessarily the outfits but the outrageous styles. Club kids were all about the shock factor as is Gaga.
-She claims to be bisexual, and basically all the club kids were bisexual or just gay.
-That whole blood bath scene at last years VMA's performing Paparazzi is a copy of Alig's bloody parties when guests would show up in bloody gruesome outfits.
-The way Gaga acts totally crazy and disrespectful in public is basically the same way Alig did it back in the day, and it is used as a promotion tactic.

I've been obsessed with the club kids since 'party monster'. I've been obsessed with gaga since 'the fame monster'. Honestly, I love them both for the whole crazy fashion idea, and the pop-art they have. The only other person gaga is similar to is marilyn manson, TBH
