Note: the movie was originally shot in English and has a rather serious plot but for its hong-kong release, it was dubbed by local stars (Andy Lau, Cecilia Cheung, Lau Ching-Wan and many others) and the dialogue were completely changed to turn the movie into a comedy . You can notice the huge difference in the dialogues if you choose the English track and put the English subtitles on (which translate the cantonese dub).
