Burl Ives hosts Hollywood Palace (3 of 5) 12/12/64 --Anna Moffo (operatic soprano) - "Ach, chacun le sait" (from Donizetti's "Daughter of the Regiment.") --Burl Ives and Anna Moffo - "Turn Around"
I remember the Hollywood Palace. It was a very good show. Ran on ABC from Jan. 4, 1964 to Feb. 7, 1970. Was on Sat. nights from '64 to' 67, then Mon. nights in '67 and '68, and back on Sat. nights from '68 to '70. Bing Crosby was the most frequent host (30-plus times).
Classical Arts and Entertainment at their best.

I was a child the first time I saw this. Thank you for reminding me of a simpler and less demanding time.
