KMS - Phantom at Ereve's Conference

Today, the 1.2.149 patch was released! It marks Phantom's release on the official KMS servers. With the patch, another anime clip was released: it's Phantom in Ereve's Conference.

This great clip explains Phantom's presence at the conference: Hilla, a general of the Black Mage, is trying to persuade everyone into thinking that Cygnus isn't the righteous Empress, as she doesn't have the Skyia, the magic stone which is, according to her, the sign of a true Empress.

On the other hand, she DOES have it, and she's trying to make everyone believe that SHE is the true Empress. But Phantom listened to the whole conversation, and intervenes telling everyone that what she said isn't true. He says that the Skyia isn't actually a magic stone or the treasure of Ereb (it was just a rumour to draw Phantom there), but a common jewel which Aria loved. He also says that bloodline must be followed: Cygnus, Aria's niece, ascended the throne because Aria had no children. But she's still part of her family. Hilla, on the other hand, has unknown origins.

He also has a tangible proof: the REAL Skyia, which Shinsoo gave him when he found out about Aria's death (remember when Shinsoo said "Phantom.. I have something to give you"?). He therefore destroys Hilla's fake one, and challenges her in a battle. But she probably isn't ready yet, so she just disappears along with her army.. saying that "it's not over". Phantom gives the Skyia to the rightful owner (Cygnus), and, for a moment, her face reminds him of Aria's.

So yeah. Thanks to Phantom everything ends well (for now). If he wasn't there and didn't tell everyone that what Hilla was trying to make them believe was false, they'd have probably fell in her trap. Phantom was the only one to know that. We can say that he was the right person at the right place at that.
