I have to agree with you. I think it is a great cover and these guys have amazing voices... That being said, Bono is gifted with an incredible voice of his own. He originally recorded the song giving it a life of it's own. So much so that these guys and countless others have "covered" this song since it was recorded in 1987! That in it's self says just how brilliant it was, and how powerful Bono's (U2) original version was. It has bridged these generations of people born after it was recorded!
