Miniature Christmas Village 2009

A Miniature Christmas Village incorporating many different festive elements. This year, I added a 3'x6' extension to the left part of the mountains, as well as another train and a miniature light show in the top left corner of the village. Be sure to check out the 2008 village!

great village! how did u do the lake ?

@mariak169 For the lake, I started by cutting out a piece of cardboard in the shape of the open space. Next, I wrapped the cardboard with a layer of blue cellophane reynolds wrap. Then i added a second layer on top of the last in order to give the water that glassy/wavy look. This year, I am adding a flowing stream into my village. Good luck with yours!!
