Small Business Banker, Community Organizer, Dog Lover.

Jason has been a proud resident and renter in the West End of Vancouver for the past 14 years. He currently lives in the West End with his adopted black Labrador dog named Cletus.

Jason is politically active and has worked on political campaigns at the municipal, provincial and federal level for over six years. Jason was also the host and producer of several online political video shows including "The Minute" where he interviewed prominent federal leaders, members of Parliament, provincial legislators including Premier Dalton McGuinty, CBC's Don Newman, former Prime Minister John Turner and International Business Leaders.

Presently Jason works as a Small Business Retail banker for TD Canada Trust and is also their corporate reporter for special events and environmental projects that TD produces across the province.

As a volunteer Jason spent over 5 years working with the City of Vancouver to secure land and capital funding to build the world's first skateboard plaza located under the Georgia Street Viaduct. Jason is also the co-founder of the annual West End Dog Show which has raised thousands of dollars for the BC Guide Dog Services charity.

Jason Lamarche is running for City Council because he wants to make community planning the foundation for growing our city. Jason wants to listen to your ideas so they can actually be used in building inclusive neighbourhoods that meet the needs of renters, property holders, and pet owners.
