  • Neem Karoli Baba was beyond religious identifications. What he offered to those who sought him out was not hinduism, it was perfect love. He was a sage, not a religionist. Huge difference.

  • welcome to the truth.god bless u.

  • @tovishal2009 well she has not converted to anythin else yet :)

  • What a complete fraud this woman is. She wouldn't know what Hinduism is if it hit her in the head. And to mention Neem Karoli Baba's name who was a mahatma - truly cheap and disgusting on her part. Go find yourself another path Julia - maybe a shopping spree on Rodeo Drive will gain your attention.

  • @DeeSinghOfficial You sound like those elitist Hindus who are close to their white masters but treat their own common ordinary Hindu people as Dogs. Keep your arrogance to yourself dear. I don't need a lecture from you on my faith as I didn't question yours.

As far as Julia Roberts is concerned, she is fake. She will convert to some other religion very soon.

  • welcome to hinduism

  • It is true that one does not need to externally be a "Swami" wearing saffron colored robes to be a guru. One can be maried. The bonafide guru is addicted to glorifying Krishna or His incarnation Rama 24 - 7. He respects, but he is not diverted to worship any number of the 33 million demigods like Siva, Brahma, Durga, Ganesh, who are all eternal servants of Krishna / Rama. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krsna states that none of the demigods can give us freedom from the cycle of birth and death .

  • I'm not saying that one cannot be born enlightened, but according to Vedic culture, the source of all the knowledge about yoga, meditation, freedom from karma and reincarnation, the development of pure love of God, that culture states that jsut to be an example for others, even if one is highly enlightened, one still accepts a guru. Even the original Guru, Sri Krsna and in His incarnation as Rama, both accepted spiritual masters to show the world the necessity of submitting to and serving guru

  • @Gauraonline From what I have gathered Maharaji was self-taught, or rather born in an enlightened state. It is said that he already knew everything by about age 17. He spent many many years meditating alone in a cave where I'm sure his bona fide spiritual master visited him in a physical or non-physical form. Simply because one is not of a Swami order does not make one unfit for spiritual-mastery. Maharaji is pure love~ Namaste

  • God is not Hindu, Jewish , Christian or Muslim. Those are all in the box, man made sectarian material designations. The goal of all religion is to develop love for God, it's not about getting material things, being puffed up with pride about one's "religion". The word Hindu does not appear anywhere in any of the Vedas. This word was made up by the Muslim destoryers who called the people south of the Indus or Sindhu RIver, "Hindus". I heard that Julia Roberts said she eats steak on Oprah. True ?

  • To be a bona fide spiritual master, the Bhagavad Gita states that one must have studied under a bona fide spiritual master. I researched who the Guru of Neem Karoli Baba was, and I couldn't find any info. There are 4 Vaisnava Sampradayas, bona fide lineages of Bhakti coming from Brahma Madhvacarya, Visnuswami ( Rudra ), Sri ( Ramanujacarya ) & the Nimbarka of the Four Kumaras. TO the best of my knowledge , this Baba does not belong to any of them, yet he is special because he lived in Vrndavana

  • @tovishal2009 You are not a hindu either, your comment sounds racist. How would you feel when you are abroad in sum country, N'joying honeymoon and someone comes by to you and your wife nd say Hindus are trash. I vll tell you - you will feel bad, hurt, disrespected. If this happened on a National TV you could sue sumone for racism. Because of people like you, my culture, my tradition, my religion, my ethics gets questioned all over the world outside India... I have many white frds.
