    static stretching is usually preferable to use post workout because if you use it preworkout you can lose tension in your muscle which may affect your training, this type of dynamic stretching is usually prefered and combined with a general warmup.

  • @hoganms0321 this is just a different type of stretching called dynamic stretching, static stretching i where you hold one stretch like you said for 45 second and static stretching helps flexibility

  • So, is it wrong to hold a stretch ( I was always taught 45 sec minimum)? Or is that just for something different?
