he should have pulled a gold ring out and and made it looked like he dug it up than asked the kids if they could post his $1 000 find on you tube that would shut them up.

i was detecting a school yard once one of the teens was mocking me at a distance,as i got closer to them he asked me what i was digging with i told him a leich that it was a great digging tool,but for the most part it made for a great weapon for those who bother me lol he never said a word since..

The guy has a hobby.He could be sitting in a bar tenderizing his liver.I guarantee it is a hobby and an addiction.The first time you find a gold ring,worth a couple grand...tax free mind you,you would see.I seen a guy find a ladys wedding ring at the beach,and he turned down the reward money when he gave it back to her.I have good paying job,and i metal detect,because I dont golf.

'poor'? He probably spent over a grand for that detector and was able to pay it back in a couple days. Metal dectectors can make you money.
