@masterdavid321 LOL.
-
nice intro
-
is this an R1 or R2? i have and R2 and it has INSYDEH20 bios
-
@MrSexymono u mean 1.7 righty ;) ?
-
@FlasHProductionzzz no, this laptop is made to be able to overclock to 1.6 safely. Anymore can mess you up.
-
@tochbomb1 yes you can however unless you wanna play the most demanding games on ultra settings completely smoothly there is really no need to. The i5 runs cooler than the i7 and is actually faster at less demanding tasks and so should not be overclocked in my opinion. I have an m14x with an i5 and 6GB that can cope jus about any game I have tried so far on ultra at 40 fps easy
-
Can you do this with a core i5?
-
any way of overclocking it beyond 1.6 Ghz ?
-
Hello @MrMaxComputer , i been wondering .
My m11x Intel® Core™ i3 330UM (3M Cache, 1.2 GHz) , can be overclock to hw much Ghz ?
-
Does it help with the lifespan problem of an overclocked processor if you change your clock speed according to your needs? Like changing it back and forth depending on whether you play demanding games?
-
@1NT3RV3NT1ONz22 He's overclocking the processor, not the GPU.
-
why Do you Need to overclock a already good graphics card?
-
@MrMaxComputer alright so if I overclock my alienware m11x, then the built in fans should keep it cool enough and i shouldn't have to worry? and if something does overheat i can swap it out long as it is under warranty correct?
-
when i got this laptop i thought it was a bit small of a screen but you get used to it and i absolutly love it. Sorry for spelling.
-
@stinkboom111 just about
-
can this run blackops?
-
@MrMaxComputer It works now, i had it on there before, just didnt notice any faster/smoother gameplay even when all settings are low. Didn't know what defragmentation meant 'till yesterday, so imma go ahead and do that to the games and hard disk. Thanks for the help anyway
-
@Larzyman The exact same shown in the video
-
im mean really, why would they even bother putting a overclock on the computer if it doesnt work, come on... unless they want it to break and we will have to buy a new one :(
-
lol, final fantasy
FFX-Otherworld
-
LOL! murderdolls! this is awesome :D
getting an m11x i7 next week, cant wait :D
-
thanks for showing this.
I have a question, i turned on overclock, but it still says that i run at 1.30Ghz, is there something else i'm supposed to do?

@ReaperStalfo you have to make sure that u save it went choosing overclock enable, if u do . download cpuz to have complete information about your cpu frequency if it still 1.3 ghz then is a defective laptop , change it. if is still in warranty. ;)

does the overclock cause any problems to the alienware m11x
troyluna555 1 year ago
@troyluna555 nop , this is a feature made by alienware , no damage is made , is 100% stable and the temps are ok.
MrMaxComputer 1 year ago
@MrMaxComputer r us sure cuz ive read that when they overclocked their m11x they got the BSoD.
troyluna555 1 year ago
@troyluna555 , those are bad from factory , u can change it, alienware will take it back and send u a new one. they suppose to run stable on overclock feature , that is the reason that they dint unlock the cpu multiplier and clock speed.
