  • No it runs with no problems and it has about a 15% increase in gas mileage!

  • Yes I hooked everything up to stock specs and it runs great, the gas mileage went us as well

  • A good filter would keep all of that out. And there is no way that water would work its way all the way up, so it is not an issue

  • look at my other video, it is much more hidden and has no clearance issues. This intake was supposed to be over sized to compensate for the lack of power.

  • How about for a 98 blazer, that goes offroad?

  • It would work great as long as it is never fully submerged in mud or water and if you don't have things run into it. If it might be submerged at times simply cut a hole in the top of the tubing. That will allow it to breathe and you will have the best of both worlds.

  • @supra320man just what we need here in the Netherlands, gasoline is up to €1,80/L and diesel is up to €1,50/L

  • Any difference in miles per gallon? Isn't this making it run lean at higher speeds?

  • THATS WHAT SHE SAIDDDDD LOL.

  • Thanks for taking the time to show everyone how to do this.

  • this should work no problem... every motor sends to much gas to the fuel injectors as it is...and same with carb motors.... all cars have a return the leads from the injectors to the gas tank to resend unused fuel back through the system again... in other words...its not burning the gas the first time in result...lose of power and mpg's.... this should work cause more air eguals better combustion simple as that.... hope this helps:)

  • i dont care much for what some of these people are saying because they obviously dont know what ingenuity really is. absolutely amazing. ive never heard of aluminum tape until your videos and thanks to you i can really get the cold air intake to REALLY kick it up a notch. thanks for your effort man. LOL nice videos.

  • Basically, they gave me great idea how to ram air my max, Ill just buy professional materials and will look as good as it works.

    thanks guys.

  • geez guys.. take it easy.. the system works, its got proven benefits, and i doubt a "puddle" is going to be big enough to submerge the entire system in water. this is a great tutorial for many a novice and these guys are enjoying every bit of it. stop giving them such a hard time this is exactly what car modding is about.

  • No because the more air you have the easier it is for the engine to combust that gas. Your gas mileage goes up. More air equals better combustion equals less fuel wasted means that you get more miles out of the gas that your engine uses cause it burns it more efficiently.
