Making flaky and light pie pastry is not hard but it does require a little patience.

  • hello.. where's the ingredients??

  • k..so the last few videos I watched, including this one..does not tell you how much of each ingredient, or how long to bake and at what temp, uh, hello, I already know how to make "dough" and the "tips and tricks" but come on, I wanna make a pie already!!

  • wow rolling it around the rolling pin is a great idea for transferring to the pie pan. That's where my dough always tears.

  • This is a great instructional video. How long and at what temperature do you bake the pie when "blind baking"? I am contemplating baking a chicken pot pit. Please help!

  • One tsp of cider vinegar added to the water will stop the formation of some of the gluten and help keep the crust from getting tough.

  • This video is not about a recipe. It's a video about some of the techniques used in pie baking. It's useful to me, I have a recipe but I want to make sure I do this right ;P

  • wow like i know the ingrediets

  • @Lemon17ful Usually for every cup of flour you use 1 whole stick of butter and 10 tsp of ice cold water. That should help. Chill the butter and cut into small pieces.
