@Pingbo97 so true. im chinese too, and you dont have to be a practitioner to know that wushu is kung fu, in translation, well martial art and kung fu is chinese martial art with a shitload in depth with that :D

@ArchdukeJames Dude, I'm Chinese. I'm no master of kung fu or Wushu, but I know enough to say that "kung fu" (actually, correct term is gong fu) literally means "hard work". One can say that an experienced cook has gong fu in his cooking. Wushu includes the animal styles taught at the temples, another form is called san-da which is literally "loose fighting". Very good in a street fight, wushu isn't just for shows.

Based on this and its Wikipedia page it sounds great in a street fight through its combined styles and effectiveness against multiple attackers. Wing Chun is a good option for those of lighter build.
