His side kicks aren't terrible. I don't do them like that, but they are excellent. It's just a different style.

@DenPameKa8olouKala his slow showing of it agreed, but ive seen street fights where side kicks are very effective, not only pushing ur opponent back but also a very swift one to the guts will wind anybody, if somebody was rushing towards hoping for the running haymaker then a fast side kick would be effective again as it has more reach, diffrent moves for diffrent situations, its just a fighting move, you have to know when to use it at the right given time, a good tradie never blames his tools

if u use this side kick in a fight you will fall down for sure...that was awuful technique

@MrBotheman i dont do karate, i do shaolin, but it all depends what you are willing to learn and what YOU want to get out of it. I know some who have done karate, and didn't like it simply because it was a monotonous routine of kicking and punching. now that couldve very well been the place they went to and other places might offer better. best advice for you is do you want the full discipline and training as in authentic or another place designed as a more simple martial arts school?
