The funny thing is that the guy got me pissed off enough that I scored a goal. I play so much better when I'm pissed at the other team.

I hear that. Once, when I was bringing it behind the net, I looked down for ONE sec to set up for a pass, and when I looked up, BOOM! Hardcore tossed airborne-style into the wall; when I got up my whole body was vibrating and fluid was coming out of my ears. No concussion; back on the ice in two minutes.

playing hockey, have been checked so hard that you feel like your whole body fell asleep and your head feels like it is vibrating back and forth really fast. That happened when I was boarded by a huge guy using a crosscheck. He only got a two minute penalty which is bull. It should have been a two in ten.

I have a friend on my bantam hockey team (13-14 age group) who is 6 foot 4 inches and is 180 lbs. All of his checks are like this. He doesn't check a lot, but when he does you can feel the building shake!
