@DoubleTapper556 Kind of irrelevant.It's really designed to be used a close engagement rifle in urban/jungle combat, with 200 yds being long range.It's a submachine replacement not a sniper rifle.It's a huge leap in firepower compared to the 7.62x25 smg's used by russia in the siege of leningrad where they decimated nazis.For long range they still use the 7.62x54R..The 39 is a great short range round bc its low recoil & penetrates cover well.

@tanhelmet how can you make that statement with such a ridiculous choice in uppers. 7.62x39 is completely ineffective FAR less lethal than 5.56 along with 5.45 the 7.62 has HORRIBLE wound channels and no quality ammo and is just junk thats why no one uses it who doesn't need to 5.45 is marginally better tumbling but the fragmentation of the 5.56 is why the Vietnamese were horrified of the m 16 it creates huge wound channels at close range as noted by rangers in Vietnam
