  • First of all, I love popcorn! Second of all, the concept of both/and is something I struggle to understand and explain to others. Your ability to relate it to a piece of art helps me grasp the concept much better. In that piece, those kernels will never just be individual kernels. They will always be a part of the bag and individuals.

    So many of us have garden hoses (not a euphemism) but are afraid to use them because we are afraid to get wet. However, being wet is better than being burnt.

  • @hickstr AWESOME observations - I love it when I have what I call working girl moments - I saw that piece of artwork and literally - saw both/and for the first time clearly - yeah!
