Under Armour - Long Jump - For "Undeniable"

Update - 6/26/06 - This is the video I entered the UA contest with, and UA has uploaded it on their website at http://www.underarmour.com/undeniable/

I made this after being approched by a rep. from Under Armour about a little micro-short film they are making using videos of people in action while wearing UA. So I went back to my "Long Jump" video, and reworked everything.

This was my first attempt at using sound to convey an image as well as a first time I've ever put anything I've made into a contest of any kind.

I revised this video about 15 times before I was fully satisfied. The sound effects include a loud lobby conversation, a dot-matrix printer, a radio searching for a station, a hydralic pump engaging and a volcano erupting. All sounds were slowed down to 10% of their original speeds, which is why they sound so different.

Nope, not me. You can see me in other videos I put up. I wasn't a long jumper anyhow when I actually did track. I ran the mile...poorly of course, with poorly being a season average in the 5:45 range.

the effects are great, but dude. learn to jump before you make a video of it. the slow motion only makes a bad jump look worse.
