Something special happened.
In November 2011, a group of girls aged 8-11 from the Nottingham Girls' High Junior School created something very special. They recorded "Christmas Past", a tale of family and friendship values and appreciation. No profit from the song was required and the search or a local and lesser known charity with a twist had begun. The reason why we chose Ganbare Japan UK was because of their ethos of longevity. The East Midlands based charity are committed to working with the local community to raise funds and make people aware of the long term effects caused by the tsunami in Japan earlier this year. With the releasing and dissemination of music so easy these days given the digital developments in distribution we felt that the charity fitted the suite perfectly, local but globally aware and worthy. For just £5 you can download, enjoy and keep the talents of these remarkably talented and committed youngsters and help develop a charity we think should not be forgotten as we move into 2012.
