Chowderfest at Mystic Seaport

Cool sea air, a warm autumn sun and piping-hot chowda. Does it get any better than that?

At Mystic Seaports annual Chowderfest, visitors taste the best chowder anywhere, delectable seafood specialties, seasonal desserts and beer, wine and apple cider.

And there's more on the menu than great food. (Hey, this is Mystic Seaport!) Stroll through the village and enjoy live music by Finest Kind. Bring the kids to enjoy a clammy art project and story time in the Childrens Museum. Learn about late summer stars and the mariner under the Planetarium dome. Or, climb aboard our steamboat Sabino for a closer look at the colorful foliage.

Cost for chowder and other items is in addition to Museum admission. A portion of Chowderfest proceeds benefit the Museum and the Special Olympics of Connecticut.
