STORY:
Heavy rains and high tides caused chaos in Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, for third day in a row on Sunday.
The main road in Jakarta is flooded in at least 30 places. And in some places the water is almost three feet deep.
Many cars had been abandoned at the roadside, and rubber boats were
used to evacuate those people still trapped inside or on the roofs of their
vehicles.
Governor, Fauzi Bowo has inspected the area and asked for emergency tents and immediate evacuation of the area. Police Officers littered the streets as all public transportation was cut off.
Every rainy season, Indonesia suffers from heavy flooding and landslides. Three people have died and about 100,000 were displaced in Jakarta since Friday due to the heavy rains and flooding.
