I don't think they're lovers. (this is just my opinion, please don't make this a poor comment, just because you do not agree with me!) But I think in the 1800's (when Louis and Lestat meet) it's just the way men acted. And then, as time passed, because they were vampires and could not die, I always just thought they had a very special bond.

Actually, in the books, Lestat has said Louis was/is his lover. They've even kissed.

i love this movie, and i never really pictured them lik..."together"...but more as i see Lestat as kind of controlling and I felt sort of a brotherly love he had towards louis...lik real protective and condescending and frustrating at times, but still there.
