Coach Irf describes the Power run play, one of the most popular runs in football. This effective play is based off a double-team block and two lead blockers at the point of attack (the backside guard pulling out front, and the fullback kicking out the end), to create a gaping hole for the tailback to go through. Coach Irf explains how the power concept can be run from many different looks and variations, and why it is so popular. Lol this is horrible. Especially your spread set. If any time runs power from the shotgun they will usually have a lead blocker in the backfield, not just a rb in the backfield. The only way teams can run with 4 wr's if they're running a zone scheme, or draws. Lol if anyone would like an perfect example I would be glad to show you. And your defense is also horrible. Lol o em g.

@toohawg That's how we run. Have to close the door on the Mike Run through on the A-gap. As you mention the double team has to be a combo to the mike.

can you do it with a 5-2 or 5-3 defense

try bringing your te down on the mic backer and backside guard to turn out the playside OLB, better angles. You can also use that double team to combo to the backside will backer that WILL be in the box as the comment below stated. If you're going to use the backside tackle to cut off penetration through the B gap, make sure you establish a solid boot threat to hold the backside edge. good start tho, keep it up.

I can tell your young lol no defense coach is going to waist his Will linebacker by having him check air with no receiver to his side, he'll bring him in the box and walk his safety down to cover a slot receiver. Good in theory though but the actual game is alot different
