divinci Speakers from dumpster. - White van speaker scam

basically I discovered the speakers that came in the box that I found in dumpster back when. From what I see, the drivers themselves are sound albeit not worth anywhere near the "MSRP" Looks like some Chinese company made generic drivers and tweeters and simply sold them to the naughty company who poorly implemented them. The only thing on in these speakers that are actually seemingly professional is the divinci badge itself... If you were a poor recipient of these speakers, might as well make lemonade with them since you already blew your money. You can actually do repairs to make them sound OK and OK speakers work much better than smashed speakers. If you have not bought them, then don't since obviously you will not pay what they are actually worth. (the value is actually more than zero and is relative to the components themselves. Just understand that I am not up-talking them so you would buy them, but if you already have them, might as well use them (pending any obvious needed repairs) see video....

I am going to try to tune them and see if I cant get them to sound a bit better. the Independent components have already proven themselves to be usable, reliable and sound so as long as you stay within they're actual specs.
based on the impedance and gauge of wire, I would say they are around 35w RMS with a MAX power handling of 80w. I will be making some appropriate filters for the tweeter since the cap is incorrect and kills what it can actually do.

If you have some White van scam hardware and want them out of your sight, send them to me and Ill mod them and use them :P

not knowing much about stuff like this i bought a pair of dynalab sda 2.8s at a thrift store to day they sound decent and look good for the 30 that i spent on them hope ther not amp killers will find out more on that once i test the ohms

for free you couldnt argue really. Ive found some great stuff in the trash. Had a £600 home cinema amp from the rubbish worked 98% of the time perfectly just had a fault with protection circuit being over protective. Which was annoying half way through a film hence the owner must of lost his patience and binned it
