@nearfalse its called compassion, and its something sorely lacking in our society. next time im on the train and i see a pregnant woman, instead of giving her my seat, i will tell her she should have though of that BEFORE she got preggo.

The reason no one gave up their seat, or offered to help, is because this drunk guy is a grown man who can take of himself. He's not a child, not mentally challenged, and not an invalid. He drank too much, and now feels like shit. No help needed. What are we gonna do, have a special drunk seating zone, and make sure folks who were smart enough to not get shit-faced have to give up their seats to drunks? Uh-uh. You drink too much, you deal with the consequences.
