Old Sci-Fi UK Anime TV Spot + Channel ident

Between 2000 and 2003, I'm not too sure. Sci Fi UK along with Channel 4 was the first few British TV channels to broadcast these movies during the western anime boom.

Wow, brings back memories. I'm pretty sure this is from 2000, because I remember Scifi UK ran an anime special that year, with stuff like Akira, Dominion Tank Police, Lensman, Wings of Honniamise, Orguss O2 and Ghost in the Shell and it was the same presenter. Had them recorded on tape for years, pretty much my first serious brush with anime and definitely helped fuel my interest in it, as like you have said, there was precious few other channels broadcasting movies and OVAs at the time.
