ESP RA.DE. - Yusuke 2cc - 12M pts - part 4/4

ESP RA.DE. 2-credit-clear using Yusuke. This is part 4 of 4: last boss and end credits.

Points earned with 1st credit: 12,028,390

One nice thing about this full-run video is that you get to see how I *really* play the game, i.e. how I play when I know I can't just restart from a saved state if I die ;).

This run was actually very close to becoming my first esprade 1cc, much closer than I've ever come before. If it wasn't for those two silly deaths on the first 2 parts of the boss, I probably could have achieved a 1cc :(. Then again, maybe I was lucky to have *only* two silly deaths.

I guess I need more practice for better consistency.

What software did you used to record the screen? Mine slows the game a lot and makes it impossible to dodge...

I used Camtasia.

To prevent it from slowing down the game, I tell MAME to use 320x240 or 640x480 resolution for the game. In Camtasia, I set the video frame rate from 20 to 40 and I configure the codec (TechSmith Capture Codec) to use fastest compression.

Lastly, I have a P4 3.0 ghz processor.

Well, in addition to turning on audio recording in Camtasia, you need to configure your sound card to record wav output or all output. This varies from card to card, so I'm afraid I can't tell you exactly how to do it T_T.

This boss owns me... And "two silly deaths" is AWESOME compared to how deaths I've had... through out the entire game. (I'm lame, and I'm fully aware of it, too.)

I think I've just gotten too used to rRootage; I'm all bedazzled by the pretty colors and all the enemies and oh yeah, that hitbox is SOMEWHERE... *gripes*
