Caramel sauce- Over medium heat in a small sauce pan melt together, stirring constantly:

1 1/2 c. salted butter
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
3 tbs. skim milk
1 1/2 tbs. light corn syrup

Bring to a boil, boil and stir for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Once this has cooled to room temp. stir in:

1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Butter and Nut Flavoring (regular vanilla is fine)

I cannot stress enough how important it is to continually stir this, from start to finish DON'T stop! If you do the butter will separate and the result will NOT be the same!
