Ralph and I are going to sing this song this coming Sunday for Elizabeth. There are so many wonderful renditions...for instance, Seeger, Arlo, Denver, PP&M, Bill Mills and even Kermit. But I love this version by the composer himself...David Mallett.

Glad to see a video of the songwriter on here. Loved John Denver's version but this is the man who wrote one of my favorite tunes of all time. By the way, if you wander in here David I wanna thank you again for the autographed 8x10. It is treasured by me but I'd burn it in a minute if someone told me I had to choose between the signed photo or the music! I'll take the music any day without thought or question. That being said, I appreciate the post sonnytrue and thanks....
