I don't know how it gets any better than this. A 1989 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series with carriage style roof. Low mileage and absolutely mint! All maintenance up to date and the car drives like a dream.

I have it up for bid on an Ebay auction.

  • Question For "Any" 1980's Lincoln Owner. Does Anyone Know Which Fuse Number Go To The Digital Dash. Mines Had Just Went Black On Me. Please Help Me Get It Back On. Thank You In Advance.

  • In my opinion, this car would've been more elegant with a Blue Carriage top and Leather instead of velour, but it's a good thing that the car has the digital instrument panel. Lincoln innovated that option in 1980 with the Mark VI, Continental Towncar and The Thunderbird. No other American or Foriegn Auto maker had that option available EXCEPT Ford.

  • You have a lincoln why sell it...they have clubs for our cars!

  • A very nice car. I gave mine to my son and he didn't feel the same way about it as I did so the car was sold and I'm now looking to purchase another beautiful machine. Would you be interested in selling her ?

Thank you for your time and consideration,

    Sal

  • @fmansfield444 Yeah it sucks too lose one even with the JBL option, but once they start to rust/show signs of neglect and not being stored in the garage....... Didnt mean to blow your opportunity with a sweet ride I have just been there before with these cars:)

  • It is so nice to see one of these true American classics treated with "respect"!!! ;instead of given into what appears to be the typical You Tube fad of immatating David's Farm and trashing cars like this that appear to be in equally good condition!

  • @yknot10 yeah i ended up not buying it and that was one of the reasons. the edge of the back door snagged it at some point i guess and it was starting to rip. too bad though cuz it was loaded, even had the cd player. thanks

  • @fmansfield444 The full canvas roof was an option, ordering that roof "deleted" the opera windows and b pillar lights, it was also much more attractive, and the look is actually preferred even 20 years on. lookout for ripping on the vinyl edging above the rear doors, thats where it starts and goes bad fast as well as rust stains appering to come from under the stainless strip just below the rear window where the canvas and trunklid meet, if you see rust stains there run away!

  • Great model, with the full top with light delete, the good dash, the jbl cd system (extra rare) btw- all towncars had a power antenna, sadly cloth seats, but the worst part is that you allowed wheel weights to be placed on the outside lip, that's a big no-no with those wheels. The spokes REQUIRE Inside lip/ adhesive weights to avoid massive clearcoat problems, huge mistake on that.

  • I dont understand how people can look at those and say ew, look at that gross old grandpa car. its not a grandpa car, its an image of pure class and luxury on 4 wheels
